Huawei Ascend W1 new Windows Phone 8 Device


imageIt’s a news again from Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2013 from Los Vegas, Huawei a Chinese Multi-National Networking company joined hands with Microsoft Windows Phone to release his first Windows Phone 8 Device called “Ascend W1”. About the company Huawei, its is a Chinese multinational networking and telecommunications equipment and services company headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. It is the largest telecommunications equipment maker in the world, after having overtaken Ericsson.   [more]



Ascend W1 device runs Windows Phone 8 Operating system and it has a good specification to compete in the market. Below are the specification.

  • Device Display - 4 Inch, with 480x800 dimension
  • Processor - Qualcomm MSM8230 Snapdragon
  • CPU - Dual-core 1.2 GHz Krait
  • Camera - 5MP Rear and .3MP Front Facing
  • Storage - 4GB internal and expanded up to 32 GB (MicroSD)
  • Battery - 1950mAh which has 470 hours of Standby time.

This figure of 470 hours stand by time is going to make this device stand unique in the market as most the devices are running out of this portion.



Huawei Ascend W1 is available in Red, Blue, Black and White colors in Russia and Asia Market starting jan 2013 and will be available to the rest of the world pretty soon.
