In this article, we are going to see what Isolated Storage is and how to use the storage in our Windows Phone 7 applications as and when required. Isolated storages are virtual space available with the windows phone 7 for the application to store and retrieve the files that are specifically required to operate the application developed at runtime or in offline mode. As the name suggests, the file or the folder stored with the Isolated Storage content will be available for the specific application only and isolated from the other application trying to access. Therefore, the main advantage over the isolated storage system is each application will be independent on to its storage medium. Here in this article, we will see how to create a small application which uses the Isolated Storage to save a file with some text into it.
